About the Team
Your Role
- Act as the primary technical pre-sales advisor for assigned Public Sector accounts
- Understand customer business drivers and translate them into effective Nutanix-based solutions
- Provide technical leadership across the sales cycle, including requirements discovery, solution design, and proposal development
- Clearly articulate the value, features, and benefits of Nutanix products and solutions to both technical and executive audiences
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and technical briefings, including support for events and roadshows
- Design, manage, and execute solution evaluations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to support sales opportunities
- Serve as a technical interface between Sales, pre-sales, and customer technical teams, driving issues to resolution and managing escalations when required
- Collaborate with Product Management to communicate customer feedback, feature requests, and roadmap considerations
- Provide reporting and insights on customer engagements and field activities to Sales, Product Management, and Engineering

- Proven experience engaging with customers at both C-level and technical leadership level
- Strong technical credibility and ability to influence architectural decisions
- Solid background in virtualization technologies, data center consolidation, and server/storage solutions
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Structured, analytical thinker with strong presentation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute detailed action plans effectively
- Highest standards of personal and professional integrity
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Pre-Sales, Systems Engineering, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience selling storage and virtualization solutions
- Proven expertise aligned with the technical requirements to sell Nutanix products and services
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken)
